I only knew you a short time, but you made me laugh. I will always remember the time we had at the county fair. You will be missed very much. I was proud to call you my father in law.

    My grandpa,

He was my grandfather, and father figure in my life. He and my grandmother raised me as there own. He taught us all to be who we are now. He was what held us all together, and now even with him gone he still holds this family together. He will never be forgotten, he will always be with us in our hearts.

    My Dearest Father,

He was and still is in my memory a very gracious and merciful man; My father. In my heart I have always loved him and I always will. He taught me so much about life in this World. The ups and downs, compassion, consideration, honorment, and especially – Respect.

He is now asleep in this World. Though I know he will awaken in Jehovah God`s New World.

With My Heart, Soul, Body, And Mind,
    Danny Caye Bock

I will allways have fond memories of Dave. He was one of the adults in my young life that seem to care about us. I remember the first night Davey had his license and crashed in Nora. He thought his DAD was really going to be mad about the crunched up Falcon. But, as usual, Dave was more concerned about his son. That night, I knew that guy was special. I will never forget the fun nights at Dairy Dandy and the stories that he told us about the United States Marines. He was the only adult that treated Patty and I as adults when we were young teenagers in Love. Dave was a great man! My heart feels empty. The other families that I have notified of Daves passing, such as the Diehl’s, Ensley’s, Warriner’s, Hardwick’s, Moore’s, Hizer’s and several other Pike High School Alumni send their condolences. Patty, Jochen, Derick and I, all want you to know that you are in our prayers. Semper Fi Dave!

I’m very sorry for your loss. I remember David’s gentle nature and subtle humor. I see from the pictures on the memorial site that he’s *always* had that kind smile. David and Sharon welcomed me and treated me as family whenever I’d come to their home to visit.
